Roger Lee Lovern

Roger Lee Lovern, 54, of Christiansburg Va, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Shirley Melvin Lovern and Frances Elizabeth Lovern; brothers, Clifton Lovern and Donny Lovern.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Jennifer Lovern; daughter, Abigale Lovern; and sisters, Elizabeth Twiggs and Shirley; brother, Calvin Lovern (Kim); numerous nieces and nephews.

Roger worked at Food Lion for more than 30 years, he loved his job and it was truly his passion. Roger enjoyed hunting and doing woodwork. Roger loved his daughter, Abigale more than anything and was such a great father to her. He never met a stranger and was a great friend to so many. He will be greatly missed by all his friends and family.

Family will receive friends on Friday, August 26, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 11:00 am in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Mike Johnson officiating. Interment will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at noon.
