Ronald Lee (Ronnie) Custer, 48, of Christiansburg, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 30, 2014.
Ronnie was preceded in death by many loved ones. Left behind to cherish his memory are two sons, Joshua and Joseph Custer; mother, Zelina Custer and Benito; father, Alfred Junior Custer; ex-wife and friend, Kay Custer; siblings, Arleta Early, Junior Custer II, Donna and John Early, and Chris Custer; brothers by heart, Dennis Bailey, Travis Echols, and Matt Epperly; a special uncle, Jim Hinkley; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 2, 2014, from 3-5 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held directly after at 5 p.m. in the Chapel, with Mr. Charles Henderson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Ronnie’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
