RODGERS, RONALD GENE, age 76, of Christiansburg passed away Monday, June 7, 2004.
He was preceded in death by his son, Ronald C. Rodgers and brother, Dale Rodgers.
Survivors include his wife, Deloris I. Rodgers of Christiansburg; children and spouses, Sharon Rodgers-Lord & Chaz, Michelle L. Rodgers, Daniel C. Rodgers & Kelly Marie; 1 granddaughter; 4 grandsons, two brothers, Raymond Rodgers and Bobby K. Rodgers.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 12th at Main Street Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Long officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to Main Street Baptist Church Building Fund, 100 West Main Street, Christiansburg, VA 24073 or Gideon International, P. O. Box 366; Christiansburg, VA 24073.
