Roscoe Junior Harmon

Roscoe Junior Harmon, 81, of Christiansburg, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Walter and Blanche Haley Jones Harmon; a special brother, Johnny Harmon; as well as four other siblings.

Roscoe is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Janie Harmon; children, Viola Barkalow and husband Jim, Clifton Harmon, Mary Jane Harmon; grandchildren, Brittany Early and fiancé Troy Wright, Steven Moses, Anthony Early, Holly Moses; great-grandchild, Draco Custer; special friend, Mable Custer; as well as many other family and friends.

Roscoe retired from Virginia Department of Transportation. He enjoyed playing guitar, woodworking and participated in the NRV Classic Cruisers events.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, from 6-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jube Burk officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
