Bostwick, Jr., Roy “Jack”, 78, of Christiansburg, VA, passed away on October 12, 2010. He was born to the late, Roy Jackson Bostwick, Sr. and Mittie Leona Dickerson.
He was retired from Norfolk-Southern Railroad after 45 years of service and was also a charter member of Trinity Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara Brumfield Bostwick; sons, Scott and Pam Bostwick and Sam Bostwick; grandchildren, Samuel Bostwick, Jr., Amanda Sheppard, Brent Bostwick, Brooke Bostwick and Brittany Bostwick; brother, Don Bostwick; sister, Lois and Wayne Collins; four great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Colleen Hall and Virginia Stansberry.
The family will receive friends from 5p.m.-8p.m. on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at the Horne Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 15, 2010 at Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg, VA, with Rev. Monroe Hedrick officiating.
