Ruby Fisher

November 24, 1937 — April 13, 2005

FISHER, RUBY DALTON, age 67, went to the be with Lord on Wednesday, April 13, 2005.

She was an active, faithful member of the New Hope Church of God since 1981 where she served in the capacities of Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Secretary, Ladies? Ministries, and Secretary of the Ladies Auxillary.

She was preceded in death by her father, James E. Dalton; her son, Vincent R. Fisher. Survivors include her husband, Raymond M. Fisher of Christiansburg; daughter and son-in-law, Linda & Billy Turman of Radford; grandsons and spouse, Charlie Estes & Jamie Brown-Estes of Athens, GA; Cameron Heath Johnson of Radford; granddaughter by choice, Ashley Keene of Christiansburg; mother, Ola Mae Marshall of Hiwassee, VA; sister and brother-in-law, Rev. Johnny & LaVerne Howlett of Pulaski; brother and sister-in-law, Charles & Wilma Dalton, of Dublin; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Dean Mullin of Smith Mountain Lake; and Reba Long of Christiansburg.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the New Hope Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the New Hope Church of God with Pastor T. Michael Bond and Rev. David Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery. The Fisher family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg (382-2612).
