HAMM, RUBY ELLEN, age 81 of Christiansburg went to rest after her courageous battle with lung disease that ended at 7:45 p.m. Thursday, November 11, 2004 with her family by her side.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar & Allie Bell Carpenter and her husband of sixty years, Frank James Hamm. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Mildred H. & Roger Lowe; son & companion, Edgar D. Carpenter & Ann Adkins; special friends, George & Pat Hinkley and family. The family wishes to express their thanks to the ProCareers Staff for their support.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Saturday evening, November 13 at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 14 at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Kingrea officiating. Interment will follow in Belmont Cemetery. The Hamm Family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg. (382-2612)
