Ruby Spencer Rice

Ruby Spencer Rice, 81, of Christiansburg, was called home by our heavenly Father on Monday, February 24, 2020. Although it was time for you to go, it wasn't our time to let you go.
Born on July 12th 1938 , the 7th of 13 siblings Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Clara Spencer; and former husband, Carl Lawson. She is survived by her husband, Bill Rice; her children, Lesa Lawson, Tim Lawson, and Dreama Hilton; step-children Brian Rice, Timothy Rice, and Renae Criner; her grandchildren, Carl T. Lawson, Tracy Collins, Jordon Collins & wife Jenna, Meagan and Courtney Karr; and 4 great-grandchildren, Avery Hickman, Madison Morris, Brooke and Levi Collins.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 27, 2020, from 5-7 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 28, 2020, at 1 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Craig Reed officiating. Entombment to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. A full obit will be posted shortly.
