Ruth Roberts Brillhart, 80, of Christiansburg, VA passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2013. She was born on December 27, 1932. She was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Annie Jennelle Roberts and her husband Jack Brillhart.
She loved to sew, cross-stitch, garden and arrange flowers. She was a very outgoing person with many friends. She loved to take day trips and see new places.
She is survived by her son, David Brillhart, and his wife Linda of Silver Spring, MD; brothers, David Roberts and wife Charlotte, and Bobby Roberts; as well as a sister, Frances Crockett.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 17, 2013, from 5-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at 11 a.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Neal Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.
