Sally Ann Boots Leach

Sally Ann Boots Leach, 79, of Christiansburg, VA, widow of Carl D. Leach, Jr., passed away on August 7, 2014.

She is survived by her son, Larry Leach and wife Sandi of Colonial Heights, VA; daughter, Linda Martin and husband Ray of Christiansburg, VA; three grandchildren; Chris, Grace, and Caroline; brothers, Don Boots of Hamptonville, NC, and Bill Boots of St. Petersburg, FL; niece, Julie Bazin and husband Brad of Lutz, FL; as well as great-nieces, Josephine, Lucy, and Maverick Bazin, also of Lutz, FL.

Mrs. Leach was very involved in her church, Christiansburg Presbyterian Church, and was an Elder there. She retired in 1994 from the American Red Cross of Montgomery County. She was involved with several garden clubs, a local Red Hat Group, and Bunco Club.
She was preceded in death on February 2, 1993, by Carl Leach, to whom she was married for 37 years.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 9, 2014, from 10-11 a.m. at Christiansburg Presbyterian Church. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the Church, with Dr. Don Makin officiating. Graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Pilots Road, Richmond, with Rev. Mike Osborne officiating.
