Sallye Thompson Kennedy

Sallye Thompson Kennedy, 57, of Christiansburg, passed away on October 18, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred W. Thompson and Pauline C. Thompson. She is survived by her loving husband, Rick Kennedy; son, Zachary Kennedy and daughter-in-law, Michele, and son, Alex Kennedy; grandchild, Harper Kennedy; brother, Walter
Thompson and sister-in-law, Suzanne; sister, Cheryl Shull; nieces, Tayler Shull, Adrienne Hill, Amelia Chandler, and Alyson MacAlpine; nephews, Scott Shull and Jess Shull.
Sallye loved making crafts, especially for children at the library. She loved the preschool children that she taught at St. Paul United Methodist Church. Family was important to her and she loved them dearly. She will be sorely missed by her loving family.
There will be a gathering for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 25, 2014, from
4:00-6:00 p.m. at the St. Paul United Methodist Church activities building.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to The Montgomery Floyd Regional Library, 125 Sheltman Street Christiansburg, VA, 24073.
