Sandra Faye Wrenn Loan

Sandra Faye Wrenn Loan went to be with her Lord and Savior Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019 at the Hospice Home of Rockingham County in Reidsville, NC.

There will be a visitation of family and friends at Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg, VA on Saturday, June 1, 2019, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. There will be a graveside service at Roselawn Memorial Gardens at 3:30 p.m.

Sandra was born on June 1, 1937 to Willis L. Wrenn and Beatrice Mills Wrenn in Christiansburg, VA. She was a graduate of Christiansburg High School, Class of 1954. She was of the Baptist faith. She loved to spend time with family and friends, travel, dance, and shop, shop, shop.

Sandra had lived most of her life in the New River Valley. She was a retired employee of the Radford Army Ammunitions Plant. After retiring she moved to Waynesboro, VA where she lived for almost 20 years. She was a member of the Waynesboro Senior Center and worked as the activities coordinator for several years. After being diagnosed with Alzheimer's and suffering a stroke in 2014, Sandra moved to Reidsville, NC to live with her daughter and son-in-law.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Michael Arrington Loan; ex-husband and father of her children, Hubert A. Loan. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda L. Price (Tommy) of Reidsville, NC; sister, Lois W. Loan of Christiansburg; brothers, Billy Wrenn of Boiser City, LA, Jack Wrenn (Dee) of Vale, NC, and Larry Wrenn (Maxine) of Christiansburg; and grandson, Nathan A. Loan of Leesburg, VA.
