Shirley Ann Smith Jones

Shirley Ann Smith Jones, 72, of Christiansburg, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 25, 2016. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Della Smith; her sons, James Franklin Jones and Anthony Wayne Jones; five sisters; and four brothers.

She is survived by her brothers, John Smith, Roger Smith, Sammy Smith, David Smith; children, Teresa Ann Wimmer, Ronald Lee Jones; grandchildren, Christopher, Dustin, Gregory, Hanna, Faith, Jay, Mathew; as well as 14 great-grandchildren.

Momma was a devout woman of God, who loved playing Scrabble in her spare time. We will all dearly miss her.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, from 12-2 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 2 p.m. in the Chapel, with her brothers, John and Roger Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
