HAMRICK, SHIRLEY HARTSOCK, 72, of Christiansburg, passed away at her home on March 10, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her son, Gary, her mother, Bessie and father, Earl as well as her brother, Buddy, and two sisters, Sue and Anita.
She is survived by her husband, George, of 56 years; daughter Becky and son-in-law Gary; daughter, Robin; daughter-in-law Donna; 6 grandchildren, Marsha, Greg, Amy, Jessica, Tyler and Ryan; 6 great grandchildren, Gia, Riley, Hayden, Natalie, Kinsley and Adelyn; sister Merlyn; brothers Tom, Jake and Harty.
A celebration of her life will be held at Horne Funeral Home, on Sunday at 3:00 pm, with Pastor Mike Vest officiating.
In lieu of flowers and in memory of her son, the family requests that donations be given to the local cancer association at American Cancer Society, 2840 Electric Road, Suite 106A, Roanoke, VA 24018.
