HARGIS, SHIRLEY BARNETT, age 59, of Madison Heights, VA passed away Friday, Oct. 19, 2007 in Lynchburg General Hospital.
The daughter of the late David C. and Bertha C. Barnett she was also preceded by a brother, Larry Barnett.
She is survived by her husband, William H. Hargis, Madison Heights; a daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and James Lane; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy and Kenneth Lawson, Joyce and Wayne Linkous; brothers and sister-in-law, Charles Barnett, David and Joyce Barnett, all of Christiansburg.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 Sunday, Oct. 21, at the Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, at the graveside in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg, VA. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made to the Monelison Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 56, Madison Heights, VA 24572.
