Stephanie Wolfe-Galante

Stephanie Wolfe Galante passed away peacefully at her home in Blacksburg, VA on Thursday, April 3rd 2025. Stephanie was born and raised in Roanoke, VA. She graduated from Oak Hill Academy and attended Virginia Tech where she met her husband, Joe. They moved to Birmingham, AL for ten years where their children, Johnathan and Isabel were born. During their time in Birmingham, Stephanie successfully served as Practice Manager for Diabetes and Endocrinology Associates in Birmingham.

Stephanie poured her heart and soul into raising her two children. She loved to read and worked tirelessly to help her children succeed academically. As much as she enjoyed teaching, she loved the outdoors, walking, hiking, swimming, feeding the ducks at the Virginia Tech duck pond, playing tennis, and bike riding. Stephanie loved all animals, owning many pets, and taking every opportunity to visit farms to see the animals and feed the horses.

Stephanie loved the holidays and made every holiday and birthday extra special. She was a beautiful person and fiercely loyal to her children. Her kind, bright, quirky, and free-spirited personality will be missed the most.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her mother, Janice Mae Mondy of Scottsville, VA, her father Howard Douglass Wolfe of Marion, VA, and her sister Harriett Wolfe Lofgren of Richmond, VA. She is survived by her husband Joe of Blacksburg, VA, daughter Isabel of Radford, VA, son Johnathan and daughter-in-law Nicole Galante of New Orleans, LA and grandchildren Juliana and Joel, Sister Cynthia Wood of Richmond, VA and Cecilia Carr of Warrenton, VA.

The family has requested privacy at this time. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations in Stephanie’s name to the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center in Christiansburg, VA.
