Sylvia Cunningham

Sylvia Cunningham, 57, of Christiansburg, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 19, 2015.

Sylvia was born on August 17, 1958, to the late Alberta and Robert ‘Bob’ Songer. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cunningham was led home by her oldest brother, Lonnie Songer; and father-in-law, James Cunningham.

She is survived by her loving husband and soul mate of 37 years, James E. ‘Jimmy’ Cunningham of Christiansburg; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Jonathan Reynolds of Riner; grandchildren, Ariel and Drake Reynolds of Riner; sisters and brother, Patricia Toler, Dennis Songer, both of Christiansburg, and Lisa Smith of Floyd; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 23, 2015, from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 1 p.m. in the Chapel, with Pastor Dwayne Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
