Mills, Teresa Carol, 50, of Elliston, VA, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2011.
She was born March 2, 1961 to Thomas C. Mills and the late Glenna Jean Perdue Mills. In addition to her father, she is survived by: daughters, Toni A. Mills and Dana Stultz; brothers, Vernon Wheeler and wife Debbie, Thomas A. Mills and wife Tammy, and Bruce Mills and wife Torri; sisters, Rita Furrow, Jackie Spangler, Connie Mills, and, Rebecca Horne and husband Curtis; and special friend Kenny Raines.
The family would like to thank Good Samaritan Hospice for all the loving care that they gave over the past year. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society, 2840 Electric Road, Suite 106A, Roanoke, VA 24018 or Good Samaritan Hospice, 125 Arrowhead Trail, Suite E, Christiansburg, VA 24073.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 28, 2011 from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at Horne Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Big Spring Baptist Church with Pastor Ken Gray officiating. Interment will follow in the New Mills Family Cemetery.
