He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict and served two additional terms in the Armed Forces. Tommy was an avid reader and lover of history. His thirst for knowledge was never quenched, as he maintained a voluminous library and was a walking encyclopedia on the subjects of WWII history and aircraft's, along with his love for vintage John Deere tractors.
He had great admiration for his friends and was faithful to keep up with many stemming back from high school. He will be sorely missed by those friends and his family who loved him dearly.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, December 5, 2022 at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 in the Horne funeral home chapel with Rev. Stephen L. Board and Rev. Deborah Agee Nall officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.

Tommy will live forever in our hearts.
