TIMOTHY LYNN SANSON, 50, of Elliston, VA, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 5, 2011.
He was a longtime employee of G. J. Hopkins.
Timmy loved to hunt and spend time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Brack Sanson; mother, Frances Ratcliffe; and stepfather, Harry Ratcliffe.
Surviving are his wife, Debbie Sanson; daughters, Renee Wells and Brianna Sanson; son, Nathan Sanson; grandson, Damon Scott Wood; mother and father-in-laws, James & Norma Wells; brother, Earl Sanson & wife, Shirley; sisters, Linda Adkins & husband, Larry, Juanita Archer & husband, Charles, Tenna Saunders & husband, Buford, Connie Helm & husband, David, Drema Thompson & husband, Steve; several nieces, nephews and cousins; brother-in-law, David Wells & wife Bonnie, Mike Wells, sister-in-law Theresa Wells Kimbro & husband, Jeff; and special Aunt Donna Ratcliff and special friend Mike Manuel.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 7, 2011, from 5-8 pm at the Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 8, 2011, at 2 pm at Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend David Jones and Reverend Wayne Powell officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.
