Tommy Bond

BOND, TOMMY WILLIAM, age 56, of Christiansburg, passed away suddenly Tuesday, January 2, 2007, at Montgomery Regional Hospital.

Tommy was a wonderful husband, father, brother and uncle. He was always there to lend a helping hand. He loved to fish and hunt with his brothers, nephews and friends. He was always smiling, laughing and have a wonderful time. We all loved his laugh and smile?he brightened our day. Tommy was a unique and distinguished person who will be missed, not forgotten and forever loved by everyone that knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Williams and Hazel Lovern Bond.

Survivors include his wife, Shelia B. Bond, his son, Benjamin Ballard; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe & Rheagene Bond, Richard & Judy Bond, Jerry & Sandra Bond, Dennis Bond, and David & Debbie Bond; sisters and brothers-in-law, Loice & Richard Williams, Maybell & Harold Hatcher, Cathy & Jerry Hatcher; six nieces and ten nephews; and eleven great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 4th at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Vest officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
