Virginia (Jenny) Patrick Saul Kingrea, 91, of Christiansburg, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren & Ruby Jones Patrick. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (John) Phillips; grandson, Bradford Phillips; great-granddaughters, Payton Phillips and Miranda Phillips; niece, Connie P. Simmons; as well as many other family and friends.
Jenny was a member of Auburn Baptist Church. She retired from Corning after 20 years of service, and then worked for the Montgomery County Schools in the cafeteria. She was a beloved mother, who put everyone else first. Jenny loved life and thoroughly enjoyed clogging and line dancing.
The family would like to thank Medi Hospice and the staff of Kroonje for their care of Jenny.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 4, 2013, at 11 a.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with the family receiving friends 1 hour prior to the service. Pastor Shake Smith will officiate the funeral service and interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.
