Wanda Helen Dillard McKirahan

Wanda Helen Dillard McKirahan of Blacksburg, Virginia went to her eternal home on Saturday morning, May 13, 2023, after an eighteen-year battle with brain cancer. Wanda was a 1983 graduate of Narrows High School and a 1987 graduate of Virginia Tech, where she was a flag girl in the Marching Virginians all four years.
Preceding Wanda in passing are her husband of thirty years, Patrick Scott McKirahan, her mother, Willa Okes Dillard, her brother Winford Hamilton Dillard, and her nephew, Timothy Allen Harris. Left to cherish her memory are her father, Winford Hamilton Dillard, son, Kyle Durrell Johnson (Danielle), son, Kevin Scott McKirahan (Alexandria), daughter, Megan Helene McKirahan, nine grandchildren, one sister, Waynette Dillard Harris (Marlon), one twin brother, Waelon Hill Dillard, one amazing friend, Patty Westley (Tim) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Wanda attended Belmont Christian Church and the Ladies Bible Study in Christiansburg, Virginia, when able. Her celebration of life service will be held at Belmont Christian Church at 2:00pm on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.
