Womack, Wayne, S., Sr., 61, of Shawsville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at Salem Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He retired from Yokahoma Rubber Company after 33 years of service. Mr. Womack was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Womack.
He is survived by his wife, Carmie Womack; son and daughter-in-law, Wayne S. Womack, Jr. and his wife, Debra Womack; four grandchildren; brother, David Womack and wife, Kaye; and dearest friends, Mike Eastridge and Gene Woods.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2007 at the Seneca Baptist Church in Elliston. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Seneca Baptist Church with Pastor John Collins officiating. Interment will follow in the Womack Family Cemetery, Shawsville, VA.
