CLEARY, WILLIAM FLAKE, JR., age 59, or Riner, VA, formerly of Ridgeway, VA passed away Monday, June 27, 2005 in the V.A. Medical Center, Salem.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served with the 82nd Airborne as a Paratrooper and a Military Policeman based at Fort Bragg, NC.
The son of the late William F., Sr. and Nancy M. Cleary he is survived by his former wife and friend, Margaret Cleary; son and daughter-in-law, William F., III and Tonia L. Cleary, Riner, VA; grandchildren, Olivia Cleary and Brandon Cleary, Riner, VA; brothers, James Cleary, Vienna, VA, Bobby Cleary, Cascade, VA; sisters, Marcia Lawson and Patricia Morrison both of Ridgeway, VA; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted 5 p.m. Thursday, June 30, at the Harbor of Hope Pentecostal Holiness Church, Christiansburg, VA with Rev. Richard Kingrea officiating. The Cleary family is being served by Horne Funeral & Cremation Service, Christiansburg, VA (382-2612)
