William (Will) Howell Curtis, II

 William (Will) Howell Curtis II, 52, of Riner, Virginia, passed away on April 6, 2025. Will was born on May 3, 1972, in Knoxville, Tennessee to Willam and Floretta (Rutherford) Curtis.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Howell and Helen Curtis and Robert and Nina Rutherford.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, Adrianna Hempelmann Curtis; sister Laura Curtis and brother-in-law Jason Douglas (TN); son William Trey Curtis III, daughter Alisha Josephine Curtis (VA), step-daughter Chelsea Brosius (TN); father and mother-in-law Fritz and Debbie Hempelmann (WV); brother-in-law Geoffrey (Sandy) Hempelmann (MD), sisters-in-law Jennifer Hempelmann (WV) and Gretta (Jacob) Burkhart (OH); nephews Channing Curtis (SC), Alex (Bethany) Curtis (TN); Elias and Jasper Burkhart; Sable Wacker Hempelmann.

Will worked for Eagle’s Nest Regeneration as Systems Administrator, Counselor, Peer Supervisor, and Communications and Outreach Director. He was also lead advisor for Transformation Grounds. He was a devout Christian who truly lived life to the fullest and by the word of our Lord. He touched infinite lives and believed with all his heart love is the standard in which we should all abide by. He demonstrated grace and mercy every day. His passion for live music and long jams was like no other and his music knowledge was one of a kind. He loved his Tennessee Vols almost as deeply as he loved his wife, children, and family.

A memorial service will be held at 4PM on Friday, April 11, followed by dinner and a celebration of life at the Bridge Church, 880 Life Dr, Christiansburg VA 24073.
