PALMER, WILLIAM DAVID, age 74, of Christiansburg, passed away Wedneday, March 15, 2006 at RJ Reynolds Patrick County Memorial Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Florence P. Whitlock. He was a veteran having served in the U. S. Army.
He is survived by his special family, Esther Griffith, Christiansburg; Briana Griffith, Riner; Lee & Norma Cole, Pilot; Barbara Griffith and Glen Hancock, Riner; half-brothers / sisters, Charles Wayne and Patricia H. Whitlock, Christiansburg; R. N. ?Bob? and Linda F. Whitlock, Myrtle Beach, SC; B. A. ?Pete? and Becky A. Whitlock, Christiansburg; Anita L. Duncan, Dublin; Nancy and Arnold Quesenberry, Christiansburg; Sally and Chuck Dennis, Radford.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2006 in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Peters officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The Palmer Family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg, (382-2612).
