Willie Jackson Musselman

Willie Jackson Musselman, 81, of Christiansburg passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jessie Jackson Musselman and mother Mary “Stella” Musselman; brother, Walter Musselman; and brother-in-law, Wesley Robertson. He is survived by his wife, Betty Young Musselman; son, Darrell Musselman and wife Missy Musselman; grandchildren, Lexie Musselman Weaver and husband David Weaver, and Jordan Musselman; great-grandchild, Laurelei Weaver; sister, Edna Robertson; sisters-in-law Thelma Musselman and MaryAnn Eanes and husband Kenny Eanes; and brother-in-law Don Young.
Willie served in the National Guard from April 10, 1958 until he was honorably discharged on May 4, 1961. He enjoyed being self-employed for 45 years. He also enjoyed fishing, laking, antiques, and being around his family. Willie was a caring, selfless, and generous man who will be missed by many.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 30, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home, with Pastor Mike Johnston officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
